S7010N Samarium-doped Glass Tube | Passive Glasses Laser Cavity Materials
The samarium-doped glasses block the 1064nm wavelength and UV pump light from neodymium lasing elements, such as Nd: YAG or Nd:glass rods and slabs. The flow tubes are used as filter media in the laser cavity of flash lamp pumped solid-state laser systems. It improves the beam amplification in a highly efficient way and safely protect the laser medium from solarization and heat.
